Our Heritage
Raised in rural Marshall County, Mississippi, they were taught that education is the key to attaining goals in life. Because of this vision, each was able to attend colleges, universities, and vocational schools to pursue the careers of their choice.
Also, The Invisible Children Education Program received a financial award to help provide safety, food, housing, school supplies and tuition for more than 30,000 Northern Uganda children.

At the CC Taylor Foundation's Scholastic Awards Luncheon in July 2008, the Foundation announced the establishment of the John L. "Coach" Taylor Achievement Award, The Sunshine Shehee Payne Scholarship, the Judith Woolley-McKevitt Scholarship, and the Mary L. Ollie Good Samaritan Outreach Ministry.
Fifteen scholarships and two achievement awards were presented to high school graduating seniors entering college; and a stipend was presented to a student enrolled at Phillips School of Theology. The Mary L. Ollie Good Samaritan Outreach Ministry presented Global Outreach, Inc. a contribution for aid to Africa, India, and China.

Because of the ever changing dynamic in today's society, it is becoming increasingly more important for our young people to develop a strong sense of their responsibility and place in our nation and the world.
The CC Taylor Foundation looks for those young people who have displayed this understanding through their dedication to church and community services.
As a result, The CC Taylor Foundation is committed to serving a need and filling a void.
Our goal is to increase the dollar amount of scholarships and the number of scholarships given as well as to make a greater impact in the lives of the poor, the distressed and underprivileged.
In our effort to continue to build The CC Taylor Foundation to reach its goal to be self-sustaining from investment income into perpetuity, we need support from corporations, friends and supporters who share the moral commitment to assisting tomorrow's leaders.
The CC Taylor Foundation is a registered non-profit charitable foundation. Donations are tax deductible under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Bequests, legacies or gifts are deductible for Federal estate and gift tax purposes as provided for in the Code.
