Thank you for your interest in applying for a scholarship given through the CC Taylor Foundation, a faith-led value-based non-profit public charity. This application package is specifically for students who are planning to attend a college/university/vocational-technical training or seminary in the Fall. RESTRICTIONS: (1) Eligibility for one of the endowed scholarships, students must possess and maintain a B (3.0 on a 4.0 scale) or higher Grade Point Average. (2) Only apply for a Reverend Marjean Taylor-Myatt ICS Head Start Center undergraduate scholarship if you attended the Marjean Taylor-Myatt Head Start Center in Holly Springs, Mississippi. (3) The Mildred and Washington Johnson Undergraduate Scholarship are available to entering first-year students at Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama. (4) The John L. "Coach" Taylor Achievement Award provides Board Certification Pay to Perform grants/scholarships prioritizing the acquisition of talented educators who identify as BIPOC and attract them to Mississippi. The award focuses on preventing stop-outs, re-enrolling dropouts/returners, and attracting Pell Grant-eligible adults who are transferring or have never attended college to earn long-term career certificates or complete a degree program offered by an accredited Institution of Higher Learning. (5) The Ministerial Stipend is open to historically underrepresented seminarians serving underserved communities regardless of faith tradition. The ministerial stipend application has a $150.00 non-refundable processing fee.
