You can still become a part of this historic ride!
This endeavor went far beyond a physical challenge. It will to impact the lives of fellow veterans, their families, and underrepresented students. By contributing to this cause, you directly assist students from traditionally underserved communities in need by helping establish an education endowment that provides vital resources for their post-secondary education.
Most companies will match an employee's gift to a charity one-to-one, but others match gifts two-to-one, and some even match donations three-to-one! Check with your HR department to see if your employer will match your donation!
- Many thanks, Luke.

Thank You For Your Support
I am Luke McCollum and I'm excited to be riding my bicycle across America (3,423 miles) to raise funds for the CC Taylor Foundation, a veteran-led nonprofit.
My goal was to raise $50,000 for an endowment but we surpassed that half-way into the ride! So we have raised the goal to $100,000! This endowment that strengthens education and leadership development for current and future generations of leaders in traditionally underserved communities. Program emphasis include various vocational program certifications, STEM based curriculums, seminary / ministerial training, and business.
If you cannot make a monetary donation, you can donate your time by sharing this page on your favorite social media or sending an email to friends you think may be interested. Learn more about the ride here!
Thank you for your generosity.

The CC Taylor Foundation
The CC Taylor Foundation transforms lives, unleashes potential, and inspires communities. This faith-inspired, veteran-led non-profit is dedicated to catapulting young people to academic, career, citizenship, and life success by providing scholarships, ministerial and educator stipends, and emergency grants.
"The CC Taylor Foundation Scholarship assisted me by covering the costs of the required books that I needed during my freshman year for both semesters. Books can be quite expensive, but because of the CC Taylor Foundation Scholarship, I didn't have to worry about paying for them out of pocket. Scholarships are VERY beneficial in helping cover the costs of school. I highly encourage all high school seniors to apply for as many scholarships as possible, because scholarships are the reason I will graduate from college debt-free."
Mahalo 🌺 for this incredible scholarship!
I'm a determined dreamer. My passion lies in biochemistry, with a double minor in biology and mathematics at Louisiana State University. I aspire to attend LSU Health for medical school to become a pathologist. My experiences with family health issues fuel my drive to find cures for diseases like cancer, diabetes, Chiari malformation, and COPD.
Thanks to the CC Taylor Foundation, my dreams are soaring higher, and I'm forever grateful to the caring Veterans, family, and friends who believe in students like me, with financial challenges, and support our education journey.
My journey hasn't been easy. Growing up, my parents worked hard to provide us with better opportunities, but economic challenges persisted. English being my second language made it tougher. Yet, I've persisted! With faith and determination, I scored 25 on my ACT, maintained a 3.71 GPA, and completed 12 dual credit college courses while working part-time. Joining the Army National Guard was a step towards achieving my dream of becoming an engineer. Thank you, Veterans donors, for believing in me and investing in my future!
